Destined to be ‘House’ wife?

kwaku alston/prevention magazine House's Lisa Edelstein
Now that “House” fans know that the will-they-won’t-they relationship between cranky Gregory House (Hugh Laurie) and his long-suffering boss Lisa Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein) is destined to happen, the only question left is when that hook-up will go down.
Unfortunately for “Huddy” fans, it won’t be anytime this season — but they’ll get one step closer.
During the final three episodes, Cuddy is going to be asking herself whether her fledgling relationship with private eye Lucas Douglas (Michael Weston) is really going to work out.
“It is going to be addressed by the end of the season whether or not she thinks she can [stay with Lucas],” series executive producer Katie Jacobs told EW.com.
While fans wait for Cuddy’s decision, House will have his hands full with therapy sessions featuring his rehab doc, Dr. Nolan (Andre Braugher). There’s also a big cliffhanger mystery that may or may not involve fellows Thirteen (Olivia Wilde) and Taub (Peter Jacobson).
“In the final episode there’s an unanswered question with one of our actors and it’s a mystery that will play out over next season,” Jacobs hinted.

'House': The moody doc may be more vulnerable than we've ever seen him before By Korbi Ghosh | May 10, 2010 8:02 AM ET
The "House" season finale is still a week away, but having just screened it, thought we'd start the discussion now.
Though the episode includes death and a dramatic accident which draws House and Cuddy to the scene, it seems slightly low key compared to previous season enders, despite the fact that there are a few very significant developments.
First of all, the year comes full circle. House, whom we saw in rehab, struggling to break his addiction back in September, continues to struggle. This becomes clear as the events of the hour unfold and House's humanity reveals itself.
The man who usually pulls off the whole cold, unaffected song and dance is more vulnerable than ever when he loses control, both in his personal and professional life.
Prepare yourself for a pretty harsh scene between House and Cuddy, during which she says four words which could cut anyone to the bone, even though the possibility that she's lying is there. After all, everybody lies, no?
However, she's taken a major life step forward which indicates that she's more than serious.
As for the rest of the team, there is definitely something up with Thirteen and it seems as though her health is deteriorating. But, in truth, we see very little of her, Taub, Foreman and Chase during this ep. It's pretty much the House and Cuddy show. But what they've done completely works and feels like a fitting close to the season.
Can't wait for you to see it and hear what you think, hopefully you'll agree.

Are there any good “Huddy” scenes in the ‘House‘ season finale (airing May 17)? please tell me that House and Cuddy have at least one scene together. – LoveCuddy via Twitter Yes, they have at least one scene together. Oh, and by the way, they have several scenes together. Several meaty scenes.
I’m really scared to watch the ‘House‘ finale. How much will the Huddy fans be hurt? – ally316 via Twitter Beware the intense, two-minute long conversation that comes midway through the episode! Ouch. But mind you, the screener I was sent did not include the very final scene, which by my best guess must run at least 45 seconds long. Who knows what could go down there.
Is Cameron in the ‘House‘ season finale? – RyanPaulAddison via Twitter I don’t think it’s spoiling anything to confirm that no, she is not.
What’s your take on ‘House‘ finale?! – icegirl955 via Twitter My take: It’s pretty outstanding, especially if you go into it expecting a House-centric hour featuring an utterly aces performance by Mr. Hugh Laurie. That said, I myself honestly would have liked to see a bit more of the team. But that’s just me.

Will House and Cuddy fans be pleased with the season finale of HOUSE? — Jack The TV Addict: House and Cuddy fans will certainly be pleased with the amount of screen time dedicated their favorite duo. As for the resolution of the will-they-or-won’t-they that has been bubbling over the course of the past few seasons. Well, let’s just say that remains to be seen. And we mean that literally! Because as much as we’d like to reveal the outcome of the very frank conversation House and Cuddy share with eachother as they struggle to safe the life of patient trapped under the rubble outside of the hospital, the executives at FOX continue to live up to their network’s namesake (as in sly as a…) by cutting the finale screener off just prior to the final scene.
Will all the talk surrounding the HOUSE finale centered around House and Cuddy, is there anything for fans of the rest of the Team to look forward to? — Max With the notable exception of one doozy of a decision by unlucky number Thirteen, Foreman, Chase and Taub get realitively little screen time in this very “Huddy” centric season finale.

What can you tell me about House and Cuddy in the House finale? — Mark and Joan MICKEY: It’s never a good thing when someone tells you that you should move on with your life, right? Over the course of the tragic hour, three main characters will make life-changing choices. They won’t be good choices, but one of them will make some in the audience cheer.

Question: Tell us more about the scene in the House finale you called “one of my favorite Huddy moments ever.” —Annie Ausiello: It’s dark. House and Cuddy are lying down. And there’s moaning.
Question: It’s not fair that you got to see the House finale before us. Not fair at all. The least you can do is slip us a scoop or a tease. —Julie Ausiello: The “unanswered question with one of our actors” that exec producer Katie Jacobs teased a few weeks back involves a major character leaving Princeton-Plainsboro.

Remy in Tucson: I know the season finale of House revolves around a huge disaster, but please tell me we see some House-Cuddy action in the episode as well! The term "lay it all out on the table" is probably what I would use to describe the House-Cuddy moments in the season finale of House. Dr. Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein) gets all up in House's grill, and not in the way "Huddy" fans would hope. Needless to say, the intense confrontation plus the chaos and consequences of the disaster equals a broken, vulnerable House, played to perfection by the always brilliant Hugh Laurie. If you thought you saw all the sides of our favorite cranky doctor, you be wrong.
Auden in Tampa: Forget about Huddy for a moment. What about the rest of the docs on House? What's in store for them in the season finale? How about some scoop on the Princeton-Plainsboro gang? Actually, the one complaint I have about the episode is not enough Dr. Wilson! It is indeed the House-Cuddy show in the season finale. But we do get to see developments with the tragic storyline of beautiful Thirteen. Developments, I say. Not a resolution.
