Dr House : Dr Cameron (Jennifer Morrison) reviendra en saison 7 !

Dans un entretien avec TV Guide, la belle Jennifer Morrison révèle qu’elle fera très sûrement un petit tour chez le docteur House l’an prochain.

Alors que son départ avait bouleversé la sixième saison – en cours aux Etats-Unis -, l’actrice redonne donc un peu d’espoir aux nostalgiques du trio House ( Hugh Laurie ) – Chase ( Jesse Spencer ) – Cameron (Jennifer Morrison) ! A TV Guide, elle a en effet expliqué que des discussions étaient en cours quant à son possible retour pour plusieurs la saison 7.

Si l’on ne connaît pas encore les détails de l’histoire qui ramènera le Dr Cameron à l’hôpital de Princeton-Plainsboro, Jennifer Morrison explique qu’ « au niveau du contrat, ils m’ont assuré un certain nombre d’épisodes l’année prochaine – 3 ou 4, je crois, ce qui veut dire qu’ils écriront probablement une histoire pour le personnage ».

A noter qu’un petit passage de l’actrice dans Dr House est déjà prévu pour un épisode de la sixième saison, celui du 12 avril, réalisé par Hugh Laurie. En attendant, Jennifer Morrison distille sa bonne humeur du côté de Broadway, où elle est à l’affiche de la pièce de théâtre The Miracle Worker jusqu’au mois d’août.

'House' exclusive: Olivia Wilde taking leave of absence

House will be minus Thirteen when it returns next season.
Olivia Wilde is taking time off from the Fox hit to shoot a starring role in the big-budget sci-fi western Cowboys & Aliens.

“Olivia will be there at the very beginning of the season, and then she will not be there for a period of time,” explains executive producer Katie Jacobs.

Production on the Jon Favreau-helmed Cowboys & Aliens — which is set to get underway next month and continue through the summer — is expected to overlap with season 7 of House by at least two months. The film also stars Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford, and Sam Rockwell. (Fun fact: Lost‘s Damon Lindelof co-wrote the script with Fringe exec producers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci.)

“She had this opportunity and she was really excited about it,” says Jacobs. “We’re very proud of her and very happy for her.”
The seeds of Thirteen’s departure were planted in last night’s season finale when, in the final moments of the episode, the Huntington’s-afflicted doc announced that she was taking a leave of absence from Princeton Plainsboro.
“The two things — the dates that she was going to be away and the storyline [we wanted to tell] — worked out,” says Jacobs. “When the story unfolds it will [all make] make sense.”

Dr House placée sous le signe de l'amour

Les américains sont quand même très chanceux. Alors que nous venons de finir la saison 5 de Dr House, eux viennent d'en terminer la sixième. Et récemment, Katie Jacob, productrice exécutive de la série, a commenté la fin du season finale.

ATTENTION SPOILER

Le dernier épisode s'est terminé sur un baiser échangé entre House (Hugh Laurie) et Cuddy (Lisa Edelstein). Et ainsi, Katie nous dit dans Entertainment Weekly « c'est très réel et c'est une relation qu'ils vont essayer. », ajoutant « C'est quelque chose qu'ils ont laissé de côté très longtemps parce que c'est dangereux et que les conséquences pourraient être sévères. Mais maintenant, ils vont se donner une chance ».

Par ailleurs, elle a indiqué qu'elle voudrait que le show reprenne exactement à cette scène. « Je suis certainement dans le camp de ceux qui ne veulent rien louper », expliquant « Parce que le fait est que les défis qui les attendent sont ceux qui les tenaient à l'écart. Ce n'est pas de l'alchimie ou une étincelle. C'est plutôt : « Comment allons nous nous en sortir ? Nous allons être ensemble. A quoi ça ressemble ? ». Cuddy est sa supérieure à l'hôpital. Et c'est une mère. Et nous prendrons du plaisir avec ces choses là. »

Et pour finir, elle conclut sur le fait que le couple sera très développé. « Ce n'est pas quelque chose qui va marcher ou échouer en un épisode. Nous allons vraiment explorer cette relation ».

Ausiello: I know of no such plans. Jacobs, however, confirms that Cynthia Watros will be back as Wilson’s former (and current) love, Sam. “She absolutely factors into the beginning of the season,” she says. “Where that relationship ultimately goes I don’t know.” Jacobs notes that this marks the first time that both House and Wilson will be involved in serious relationships simultaneously. “Wilson will be with Sam and House will be with Cuddy,” she points out. “What does it look like for Princeton Plainsboro thematically? Pas d'affolement, son absence n'est que provisoire. La belle délaisse la série pour son premier grand rôle au cinéma.

Olivia Wilde, qui joue la sulfureuse "numéro 13" dans la série Docteur House aux côtés de Hugh Laurie, sera absente de la saison 7. La raison ? Son premier grand rôle au cinéma.

L'actrice a demandé à être libérée du tournage pendant quelques semaines afin de pouvoir participer au film Aliens and cowboys, qui sera réalisé par Jon Favreau, le metteur en scène d'Iron Man, avec Daniel Craig, Harrison Ford et Sam Rockwell. L'histoire du film se déroule dans les années 1800, dans l'ouest américain où des extraterrestres veulent asservir l'Humanité.

D’après Entertainment Weekly, elle sera absente dès le mois de juin et ce, pendant tout l'été. Karie Jacobs, productrice exécutive de la série, déclare : « Olivia sera là au tout début de la saison, et puis elle ne le sera plus pendant un petit moment . Elle a eu cette opportunité et était vraiment très excitée. Nous sommes à la fois fiers et heureux pour elle. »

'House' exclusive: Will Hugh Laurie check out next year ?

Wanna good scare? Imagine the end of House. And with Hugh Laurie’s contract up next season, it could happen. “I have no idea” how much longer the show will run, he tells me. “I only hope we’ll know when the time is right [to close up shop]. When people blunder on for five years after [they should have called it quits]… it gets taken out of your hands. Someone will say, ‘That’s it.’

“But for now,” he adds, “I’m immensely proud of the things we did this season.”

As well he should be. The crushing finale alone stands as the actor’s finest work to date (and that’s saying something!). So, given the quality of material he’s still getting to play, it shouldn’t come as a shock that he says “I am open” to continuing beyond season 7.

Laurie maintains that the idea of hanging up House’s stethoscope for good isn’t something he’s had time to dwell on — not yet, anyway. “This sounds like I’m trying to avoid [the question]. I’m not,” he insists. “I have the brain of a hamster and I can’t think beyond 5 o’clock this afternoon. I really am that stupid.

“I can only say,” he continues, “I think we’ll have a sense next year at some point” about whether to keep going.

Ausiello: You bet, and straight from Doc Crankypants himself, no less. In the wake of this season’s (no pun intended) crushing finale, we may be about to meet a — gasp! — humbler House. As Hugh Laurie points out, when the M.D.’s patient died post-amputation, he was “suddenly rendered powerless. He suddenly [became], as we all are, that tiny little speck of dust floating in the cosmos, and he [realized] his smallness, insignificance, his inability to heal and save a life. He [was] undone at that moment, because he is someone who clings so fiercely to his own abilities that when those abilities just aren’t enough, he becomes nothing — or at least has to confront the possibility that he is nothing, as we all are in the grand scheme of things.”

Ausiello: I can’t imagine it will come that, Kam. The scene in which House — in front of Cuddy — told his patient that he wished his leg had been amputated… that one alone oughta do the trick, don’t you think? And while Laurie himself would be the last person to speculate on his Emmy chances, even he recognized the power of the scene when he played it. “It sounds fanciful,” he tells me, “but I was very shaken by that sudden vulnerability, the truth he reveals because there is no alternative. He has to be open with this woman in order to save her. There is no more game-playing, no more trickery. He just has to tell her the truth. So you see sort of a naked House there in a way that is very startling.” He wasn’t the only one taken aback by the intensity of the material, either. “It was, for all of us, a very harrowing few days when we shot those scenes, including the one in the ambulance,” he recalls. “Very powerful stuff.”

Drove there and spotted set. Looked like they were breaking down for the night, but I went over and asked a guard. He told me they had one scene left and that I could stay and watch, but NO PICTURES.

The scene was House and Cuddy running out of a restaurant, then she re-opens the door, says something to someone inside, then runs back out. He hands her a helmet and puts one on himself, then they speed away on the motorcycle. They're both smiling and laughing and she tells him, like, not to be insensitive or something.

Hugh looked HOT. His hair is longer. Lisa was wearing a light pink cardi w/ pearl trim and black pants and black heels. Her hair was straight.

Remember my scoopbit in Ask Ausiello about the House season premiere leaving Huddy shippers in a state of continuous orgasm? Well, consider the above image — snapped earlier this week on location in Malibu — your proof.

Last month, exec producer Katie Jacobs confirmed that House and Cuddy would finally make a go of a relationship next season. “This is real and something that they are going to try,” she said. “It’s something they stayed away from for a long period of time because it’s dangerous and the consequences could be severe. But now they’re going to give it a try.”

She wasn’t kidding!

As the grumpiest doctor on the box, Hugh Laurie rarely shows his gentler side.

But after being snapped hugging a cute fluffy white dog in-between shooting scenes for hit series House, it seems that Laurie is really one big softie after all.

The 51-year-old star, who plays Dr Gregory House on the U.S. TV show, was spotted cuddling the dog on his lap during a break from filming on a Malibu beach yesterday.

Clad in black T-shirt and jeans, Laurie was seen twirling his character's trademark cane, alongside his on-screen love interest played by Lisa Edelstein.

Currently filming the seventh series of the hit U.S. medical show, there are doubts as to whether the actor will continue beyond next season when his contract is up.

The star has made no secret of the fact he misses his wife and three children who live in England while he films for ten months of the year in Los Angeles.

He recently told Entertainment Weekly that he had ‘no idea’ how much longer the show will go on for.

He said: ‘I only hope we’ll know when the time is right [to end it]. When people blunder on for five years after, it gets taken out of your hands. Someone will say, ‘That’s it.'

But the star hinted that he could be persuaded to sign on for more House, saying he was 'open’ to the idea of contining beyond season seven.


Pensive: Laurie admits he has yet to decide whether to continue with the series

However, Laurie claimed he had not given too much thought about when to hang up his stethoscope for good.

‘This sounds like I’m trying to avoid [the question]. I’m not,’ he said. ‘I have the brain of a hamster and I can’t think beyond five o’clock this afternoon. I really am that stupid.

‘I can only say I think we’ll have a sense next year at some point,' he added, when asked about when the decision would be made.

Alas, it is House's resident couple du jour, and don't they look all lovey-dovey while shooting a season seven scene Thursday in Malibu? But is this little piece of spoilery goodness for real?!

All we can tell you is that these two were definitely filming this romantical scene on the upscale California coast this week, and that we're hearing Huddy will finally experience some actual coupledom in the upcoming season.

Hey guys!

So the week is kicking off pretty nicely with the last scoop from our missed and beloved FREELANCER on one of AUSIELLO's comments.
the title for the season premiere of HOUSE is out:

"THUNDER ROADTRIP"

IMO, Doris Egan took what she does best with HILSONs to give it to us HUDDYs meaning a wonderful journey throughout the episode but with House & Cuddy instead of House & Wilson this time.

As many know by now, there is a little Bruce Springsteen reference in this episode as well and I think this title was picked on purpose as a representative mix for what the storyline is.
I have my idea about this but I'll let you figure it out.

Ausiello: A fellow Trojan tipped me off that Hugh Laurie and Lisa Edelstein were on the USC campus Tuesday night shooting “some Huddy-ness.” Added the anonymous bystander: “They were kissing, hugging, and hand-holding. It was a fangirl’s dream come true. She had on the same outfit as in the beach pictures.” Speaking of those cutesy beach photos, series creator David Shore tells me that all may not be as it seems. “What the image depicts is rather different from what you’re going to experience when you watch the episode,” he reveals. “They’re [at the beach], but it’s not Beach Blanket Bingo.”
